There's so much I'd like to say but it often just goes away,maybe because I'd rather the music speak for itself then me having to embellish it.
But if I had to say it out; I think I've my fingers to the bones trying to make sense of what's mixing,mastering,recording at home. And even to the core of composing.
It's been about 4 years of researching and going through countless hours trying to reach a decent guitar tone,practicing to get a decent voice,hearing music just to understand what musicians of particular instruments would be playing;picking their brains.
Over the period of making this,I'm glad to say I'm proud to say I learnt something about myself;something I never even knew I had it in me. However the people that I must compliment is my family and friends and even animes,surprisingly. They were completely instrumental,one way or another. They helped me,well.. to conquer myself. Like what zacky V mentioned,the best revenge is conquering yourself,and fortunately - I did that.
Now what the future holds for me is to improve myself more in so many more ways. I want to be at the top,known in america,known in the world. Give the kids of the next generation a ray of hope that music in singapore wasn't a lost cause,like what older people have said.
I guess now, the next installment of this whole breaking the skylines series is the documentary and not mentioning me and Uzi making great music to the best of our abilities for our 2nd album, in which we're in the middle of writing.
